David Bristol was born in 1948 and grew up in Verona, New Jersey. He has a BA from New York University and a JD from The George Washington University. In addition to an earlier book, The Monk Who Made His Momma Happy, he has published poems in a number of magazines and anthologies. Mr. Bristol, who is an attorney with the Federal Home Loan Bank Board, lives in Arlington, Virginia, and owns a boat.
