Welcome to the Summer of Love Tour, where Washington Writers’ Publishing House is bringing authors all over the DMV to celebrate our new mini-anthology, Capital Love. These writing salons will reflect the intention of Capital Love, which is the belief that love is the antidote to hate and that love is action, intent, healing, and hope. This event is designed to introduce you to the Washington Writers’ Publishing House community and to raise up our collective voices in literary solidarity.

What to expect in the 2-hour literary salon:

  • A FREE writing workshop led by Beth Kanter
  • Readings from Keith David Parson, Holly Karapetkova, Zeina Azzam, and Tamar Shapiro

All events are free and open to the public.

The Den is a coffee shop at the Connecticut Avenue location of Politics and Prose.
