WWPH WRITES is now open for submissions once more!
In each issue, we feature one poem and one work of prose (either fiction or creative nonfiction up to 1,000 words) from a writer in DC, Maryland, or Virginia. If you are a writer with a recent book, we will consider a reprint and a shout-out to your work. Reprints are considered via the same Submittable site as our regular submissions.
It’s free to submit to WWPH WRITES and free to subscribe.
We pay contributors $25.00. If accepted, you will work with either Jona Colson or Caroline Bock if any minor edits are needed.
We currently have 1,500 subscribers and are growing organically with each issue. We share highlights and links to every issue on our social media and reach many more readers there.
WWPH WRITES is the best way to keep connected to your Washington Writers’ Publishing House and learn the news about our manuscript contests, our WWPH contests, our literary salons and readings, and our books! Submit today via our Submittable site here.
