The WWPH Fellowship provides undergraduates, graduate students, and recent graduates with a keen interest in the literary arts with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with the Washington Writers’ Publishing House. WWPH fellows/interns will learn small press publishing from WWPH executive board members and authors while helping advance the press’s mission. Participants will gain invaluable insight into the operations of an independent, nonprofit literary press and the publishing business as a whole (read on for more details). Each participant will receive a $500.00 stipend for the 12-week virtual internship. Our WWPH Fellowship is made possible with a generous donation from Dr. Jean Feldman.
Applications for our 2026 WWPH Fellowships will open NOVEMBER 1-NOVEMBER 30th. THE 2026 APPLICATION CAN BE FOUND HERE.
Consider joining us at one of our upcoming events in November. Make sure you say hello to Caroline and/or Jona, the co-presidents of the Washington Writers’ Publishing House, who will be reviewing all the WWPH Fellowship Applications and selecting the 2026 WWPH Fellows.
